ST ARS AND STRIPES Ornament from Danforth's Museum Collection. This ornament is new, not used. Packaging is somewhat "beat up". Danforth description: This piece was inspired by a design element in a quilt made by Mary Rockhold Teter during the Civil War when patriotic images were popular. In the quilting she included her sons name, along with the names of several Union generals and Abe Lincoln. The quilt is found in the National Museum of American History.
