LOG WOOD bulky 2 ply wool yarn from our American farm. More than one size skein available. Skeins have loose ties so you can dye the yarn without being re-skeined or re-tied it. Gauge about 3 1/2 sts on US size 10 needles. Free shipping on orders of $35.00 or more from our Farm Store.
Wool is grown by our sheep, sheared by me then washed and brought to Green Mountain Spinnery for processing into yarn. When yarn is back to us, I skein then wash yarn again so it's ready for you to work with. Our wool is a combination of fine, down and long wool breeds from our farm. Takes dye easily. It's super soft with plenty of spring, elasticity and bounce!
