TWEED SHEEP Natural white, dark brown and light brown yarns in a 3 ply worsted weight. Yarn is mostly merino wool from our sheep. Wonderfully soft feel. Gauge is about 5 stitch per inch using size 7 needles. Several skein sizes available. Takes dye easily on the gray and white strands. Spun at 1056 yds/lb. Wool was shorn and washed by me then brought to Green Mountain Spinnery to be spun into yarn. I skein and wash the yarn again before selling it. All wool is grown on our farm by our "girls & boys!" No super wash chemicals added.
