CORAL & STONE 2 ply worsted weight wool kettle dyed yarn from our USA farm.
Wool is Romney, Merino and medium Tunis x wool. Yarn has some dark green highlights that don't show up in the photos! *Shipping is FREE for the lower 48. Gauge is 5 sts/inch on size 7 needles and 4.5 sts using size 8 needles.
I start shearing our sheep in the Spring then wash it all. I take it to to Green Mountain Spinnery in Vermont to be spun into yarn. When the yarn is finished it is on cones which I skein then wash. Next some of it I dye and some remains natural color. I wash it again and it's ready to use.
We are licensed by The American Sheep Industry to use the American Wool logo and are a member of Pride of New York.
