JADE green worsted weight soft 3 ply kettle dyed wool yarn from our small American farm. Free shipping on orders of $35.00 or more. Kettle dyed/hand dyed yarns have natural variations in shade. No two skeins are exactly alike. Wool is 80% Merino and 20% down wools. Very soft!
I shear our sheep in the Spring, then wash the wool on our farm. Our wool is not carbonized to remove debris nor does it have any superwash chemicals added to it. I then bring it to Green Mountain Spinnery in VT to have it spun into yarn. When it is finished, I dye the yarn then wash it again. Now it's ready for you to work with.
We belong to the Pride of NY Program and are licensed to use the American Wool logo.
