Autumn Rust double twist lopi style worsted weight wool kettle dyed yarn from our USA farm. Free shipping with order of $35.00 or more from our farm store. Wool is Romney, Merino and medium Tunis x wool. Very soft! Gauge is 5 sts/inch on size 7 needles and 4.5 sts using size 8 needles.
I start shearing our sheep in the Spring then wash it all. I take it to to Green Mountain Spinnery in Vermont to be spun into yarn. When the yarn is finished it is on cones which I skein then wash. Next some of it I dye and some remains it's natural color. I wash it again and it's ready to use.
We are licensed by The American Sheep Industry to use the American Wool logo. We are a member of Pride of New York.
