BRIGHT AQUA and AQUA RAGG 3 ply soft worsted weight wool yarn from our American farm. Gauge is 5 sts/inch on US size 7 needles and 4.5 sts using size 8 needles. Wool is Merino, Romney and Tunis.
We are licensed by The American Sheep Industry to use the American Wool logo. We are a member of Pride of New York.
I start shearing our sheep in the Spring then wash it all. I take it to to Green Mountain Spinnery in Vermont to be spun into yarn. When the yarn is finished it is on cones which I skein then wash. Next some of it I dye and some remains natural color. I wash it again and it's ready to use.
