RUSTY RAGG 3 ply wool worsted weight kettle dyed yarn from our American farm. Wool is raised then sheared on our farm. Gauge is about 5 sts & 6 rows on size 7 needles. Yarn is spun at Green Mountain Spinnery, VT. When it comes back from the mill, I skein it, wash it, dye it, then wash it again! This yarn is About 50% Merino and the rest is made up of Tunis, Corriedale and Romney breeds. Several skein length skeins are offered. Needed a good project for surgery recovery. Sketched out a winter shawl comprised of 11 triangles and ordered all of the yarn from here. Every color is gorgeous, texture is amazing (as is stitch definition), shipping and customer service lightening fast. Will be back many more times.
